What you need? Water, neutral soap, a cloth, and a drop of alcohol to disinfect. If we are in a hurry, it will be enough to clean our jewelry with a cloth dampened with this solution to remove all germs and bacteria. If instead we want a deeper cleaning, we immerse our valuables in a basin of water, soap, and alcohol solution, letting them soak. One precaution: it is better to prefer lukewarm water.
We use a damp (and well wrung!) cloth also to clean watches and chronographs. It is essential to be very careful not to risk damaging the mechanism!
Beware of pearls and precious stones
Please remember: never use bleach or ammonia to clean jewelry with pearls and precious stones! The risk is to irreparably damage our valuables. In this case, rely on water and neutral soap. They will do their job without needing to add anything else.
