The Damiani Academy was established to create technical specializations in the goldsmith-craft field, with a specific course to train new professionals to enter the workforce. The company aims to identify the best technical and creative skills on the market, with a path of excellence at the goldsmith workshops of Valenza, in the province of Alessandria, among the most esteemed worldwide.
The workshops of Valenza
Valenza, a small town of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, represents the most important Italian and European centre for the artisanal working of gold and jewellery. Just think that even our Fabrizio Ferro trained precisely in Valenza, as a very young man, to bring to life Ferro Gioielli, a goldsmith workshop from Este that we all know today.
In short: a fine start to a career that could give a push towards the future for many young jewellery enthusiasts!

Giorgio Damiani, Vice President of the Damiani Group, has often spoken about how important it is to welcome young enthusiasts into the workshops. These are unique places where jewellery creations come to life, while the goldsmith’s art is nurtured.

This year, the young talents of the Damiani Academy were selected from nearly 500 applications. The young talents took part in 5-week courses alongside the most skilled goldsmiths and setters.
An experience for these young people that will allow them a precious future, not only with Damiani, but in many workshops! In short: a fine initiative, useful for the training of many young enthusiasts who want to discover firsthand how a jewel is made.
