A dive into the abyss
Originating from the mid-1980s, the Night Diver is one of the most famous sports watches of its time. The new model, whose full name is TagHeuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Night Diver, is inspired precisely by this iconic timepiece, in an all-black version with a luminous dial.
The new Night Diver TagHeuer is born from the collaboration between the brand’s design, heritage, and engineering teams and aims to be a faithful version of the old model, through the same dodecagonal bezel and the horizontal lines present on the dial. Perfect for the depths, up to 300 meters.
The new Night Diver: the features
Night Diver has a matte black carbon coating, with a diamond-like structure, known as DLC, “Diamond Like Carbon”, ideal for use in extreme conditions. The bezel insert is instead made of black ceramic.
Another specific feature of the Night Diver is the luminescent dial, perfect for offering great visibility even in the darkness of the abyss, thanks to the green Super-LumiNova coating.
The minute and second hands are also luminescent, but blue in color, for greater visibility even against the dial.
The new Night Diver features a black rubber strap, with a new adjustable buckle, ideal also for wearing the chronograph over a diving suit.
