I motivi per acquistare un diamante D Color

The reasons to buy a D Color diamond

In these times of crisis and uncertainty, it is essential to safeguard one’s wealth from market fluctuations. For this reason, many invest in the purchase of so-called “safe haven assets,” among which the diamond is certainly one of the most suitable choices. A diamond retains its value practically unchanged over time, besides being the stone preferred by women for the sense of preciousness and durability it conveys. Clearly, when speaking of diamonds, there are several factors to consider; the stone is universally classified taking into account four well-defined characteristics:
  • the cut
  • the colour
  • the purity
  • the weight (carat)
The combination of these factors, known among experts as the 4Cs, determines the actual market value of the stone. From the perspective of a safe haven asset, the advice we can give is to aim to purchase a high-quality diamond that can guarantee you not only immediate value but also ease of resale on the market when you decide to sell it to obtain a monetary return. To do this, even the less experienced can narrow their choice to those stones with the best colours, preferably D colour.

But why precisely the D colour?

  • On the diamond colour scale, D represents the purest white. The check is very simple to make even for an untrained eye. Go to your trusted jeweller and ask to see diamonds of different colours; those set as solitaire rings are also fine: you will immediately distinguish a D colour from a G or an H, which tend to have more yellowish shades.
  • Precisely its exclusivity means that jewellery made with these stones has an unmatched magnetic charm. If you gift a solitaire set with a D colour diamond, you will surely leave breathless the one who receives this small great treasure.
  • Coming to the more pragmatic aspect, it goes without saying that, with equal cut, weight, and purity, a certified D colour stone will have a higher market value than a diamond of a lower colour. It should be emphasised that we are talking about stones certified by an authorised body such as GIA, IGI, or HRD.
In summary, it is therefore worthwhile to purchase a certified D diamond as an excellence of colour, striking visually both loose and set in jewellery, and with a generally high market value that, in the worst case, will remain unchanged but could also increase over time. Now all that remains is to amaze you with some of our proposals.
