ANTRACITE: the Handmade in Italy accessory perfect for the summer!

Discover ANTHRACITE at Ferro Jewellers in Este (PD)

Bracelets, trouser chains, or wonderful Tibetan malas: accessories with a casual yet precious look, perfect to wear during the summer thanks to the shades of the natural stones that compose them. Today I am talking about Anthracite jewellery: born from an idea by the Italian company Vagnini & Zangheri, which from its experience in cutting hard stones has created a line of cutting-edge and fashionable accessories! Fashionable, sporty, and playful, yet also classy and full of meaning: I cannot imagine a style-conscious man without at least one Anthracite bracelet on his wrist. Made with a selection of natural hard stones, but also with silver and nickel-free metals, these accessories are truly a must-have for the summer season. They add colour and style, but also hint at something more: behind the making of these accessories lies a long path of skilled craftsmanship, passion, time, and dedication. The perfect mix for those who want to make a statement and not go unnoticed, highlighting with the right accessory a side of their character: casual, dreamer, elegant, or rebellious. But there is something more important to add: we are not just talking about material value, but a spiritual bond with the components of the bracelets. Nothing is more fascinating, in my opinion, than being able to wear on the wrist something that conveys an ancient thought or belief. The precious stones on the bracelet always convey an important meaning: it is not just about wanting to show off, but much more! Tiger’s eye, turquoise howlite, jasper, mother-of-pearl... each stone carries something deeper, linked to its own origins and properties. Striped agate, for example, seems to be able to protect the wearer: a message I find beautiful for a gift. Fossil wood, on the other hand, has always been used in ritual magic, to recall past lives and previous incarnations and to bring dormant talents to the surface. Amazonite, beautiful in its light shades and definitely one of my favourite natural stones, calms inner conflicts born from trauma, giving self-confidence. Furthermore, black agate brings balance to the wearer. In short, each stone has a story to discover and to adapt to oneself, one’s lifestyle, and character. I find Anthracite bracelets perfect for a young man who, even in the hottest heat, cannot give up the perfect accessory, but (why not?) also for a sporty and casual woman, always in tune with current fashions, but above all attracted by the message each stone represents. Some time after the creation of the bracelets, Anthracite also launched the collection of trouser chains. They were born as a motorcyclist’s accessory: a simple chain to which the wallet was attached so as not to lose it during the journey. In the Anthracite workshops they certainly do not lose their original function, but also become a true ornament to be worn with pride. Perfect for men and women, they are made of hand-finished natural stones, silver, and a handcrafted aged chain. A decidedly original and unmissable accessory, full of the playful and fresh taste much loved by modern men and women. Nothing to do with the seemingly rough and rebellious world of the most passionate motorcyclists: the chains add a touch of elegance even to the most casual outfit, without ever losing the deep symbolic meaning linked to the stones they are made of. At the ends a hook and a sturdy clasp, to which it is possible to attach the wallet or a bunch of keys. The total length is about 58 cm. Like all ANTHRACITE products, the trouser chain is also handmade in Italy and the ANTHRACITE logo in 925‰ silver certifies its authenticity.,https://blog.ferrogioielli.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/ARAGON-1-1024x683.jpg|"]
Last but not least, from the fascinating Buddhist world come the Tibetan malas, garlands used as sacred tools since ancient times. To be worn around the neck, malas are made up of 108 beads representing the union and connection among all living beings. What intrigues me most about these accessories is the millennial story behind them, full of contradictions and mystery. The 108 beads could represent the 108 Hindu deities. According to Tibetan Buddhists, instead, they would be the stone transposition of the 108 sins and 108 possible lies. Japan also holds a similar view. The most positive hypothesis, and the one closest to my heart, comes from India: 108 is the number of intersections of the lines between the Chakras, which converge right on the heart and lead to the full realization of self-awareness. However one wishes to understand it, the Tibetan mala is an accessory full of meaning and history, also made with natural stones linked to the world of Tibet and India. For example, sandalwood is the quintessential material for attracting positive vibrations. Rudraksha seeds, called "Shiva’s third eye," have supernatural powers. Malas with bone seeds have the task of reminding us how fleeting our life is, encouraging us to live it fully. An additional note, beautiful to see but above all to know, is the presence of a larger bead in every mala: it is called the Guru, it is joined to a cotton tassel and represents the lotus with a thousand petals, symbol of the energy of the Universe and a fundamental Chakra for life. Not just a fashionable accessory, then, but a true treasure chest of meanings. Every Anthracite mala fascinates me: it is not just a garland to wear, but also a legend to discover and tell! Created especially to be worn by both men and women, they are the perfect jewel for those most attentive to the spiritual world or even just for those who, like me, love to wear something able to transport us to a world full of history. Mala in Sanskrit means “rosary.” Anthracite makes them by threading and knotting 108 beads of natural hard stones. The cotton knots between the stones represent the union and connection existing at the base of all beings. The Courage Mala is made of faceted rose agate and yellow agate. Each necklace has a 925 silver tag with the Anthracite logo certifying the authenticity of the purchased product. The length is about 90 cm. The 108 stones have a diameter of 6 mm, the other 5 are 8 mm. Designed for the fashion-conscious man, but also perfect worn by a woman, Anthracite jewellery is entirely Handmade in Italy and crafted with care in every detail, so much so that the natural imperfections of each bead become a true acquired merit. A true must-have to discover and wear all summer long!
