It has a historic vocation for water sports, expressing a true and profound contact with the environment. LOCMAN therefore could not fail to dedicate a line of watches to its natural element. Thus the Mare collection was born: which infuses the sensation of water on the skin and allows you to take the memory of the waves with you wherever you go. Even in the city. But it’s not just the evocative name. The entire collection is built with a “marine” spirit: from aesthetics to materials, from practical use to the eco-friendly commitment desired by LOCMAN itself. The distinctive feature of the Mare collection is the image on the dial at 6 o’clock, which in the 44mm version reproduces a shark: not a simple decoration, but a true cultural reference to the ancient peoples of the Mediterranean, for whom the shark represented the idea of strength and freedom, a powerful symbol of protection for sailors. The Mare collection also allows LOCMAN to take concrete action in favor of the environment. Part of the proceeds from the sale will in fact be donated to the Fondazione Isola d'Elba, committed to safeguarding the territory, and to the environmental association Marevivo, which fights for the protection of the sea at a national and international level.
