Montecristo OISA 1937 Watch, 42 mm, Locman

Produced in a limited and numbered series of 370 pieces, it preserves the unmistakable design of the Montecristo collection with a distinctly Italian heart. OISA 1937 manual winding movement, 42 mm case in Steel and Titanium, black dial with printed Roman numerals. The OISA Caliber 29-50 Five Bridges manual mechanical movement features hand-crafted Côtes de Genève finishing on the bridges, which enclose the gear train, and hand-applied Perlage finishing on the mainplate. It measures 29.5 mm in diameter and 3.5 mm in height.It has been a long and wonderful journey that led to the birth of the Montecristo OISA 1937.
A journey symbolically represented by a sailing ship setting off against the backdrop of the world map of the two hemispheres, recalling the voyages of the bold and daring Italian explorers of the 15th century as well as those of Italian watchmakers since the time of Galileo Galilei.

It is in the LOCMAN Montecristo model that the first OISA 1937 manual mechanical movement comes to life, born from years of research and presented by OISA 1937 in partnership with LOCMAN with the aim of launching a new challenge: to revive mechanical watchmaking Made in Italy. The time regulation of this movement is of the “Masselottes” type, meaning it is adjusted via counterweights placed on the balance wheel rim, instead of the classic regulator lever located on the balance bridge. The power reserve is guaranteed for 60 hours, with a daily chronometric tolerance of +/- 10 seconds.
