The beating heart of the Tag Heuer Calibre Heuer 01 is the automatic mechanical movement calibre Heuer 01, which represents an evolution of calibre 1887. Besides being visible through the exhibition case back secured to the case with 4 screws, it can also be appreciated from the skeletonized dial protected by sapphire crystal and topped by a fixed black bezel with tachymeter scale. The case housing it is made of stainless steel coated with titanium carbide for greater impact resistance.
The two buttons on either side of the crown control the chronograph function visible on the dial with two counters and the red chronometer hand. The dial also features a small seconds counter at 9 o'clock and the date window at 4 o'clock. Completing the look is a perforated soft black silicone strap for an elegant yet sporty appearance.
