A distinctive feature of the Mare collection is the image on the dial at 6 o’clock, which in the 44mm version depicts a shark: not just a simple decoration, but a true cultural reference to the ancient peoples of the Mediterranean, for whom the shark represented the idea of strength and freedom, a powerful symbol of protection for sailors. The Mare collection also allows LOCMAN to take concrete action in favor of the environment. Part of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Isola d’Elba Foundation, committed to protecting the territory, and to the environmental association Marevivo, which fights for the protection of the sea at both national and international levels.
